If Mauro Giuliani were writing his famous Studio per la chittarra, Op. 1 today it is unlikely he would have limited himself to the 120 right-hand patterns he used in 1812. Christopher Berg re-imagines Giuliani’s famous technical work. Along with some of the Giuliani’s original right-hand exercises, this book contains numerous original exercises by Christopher Berg based on pieces composed since Giuliani's time and other exercises considered helpful for developing a well-rounded technique and for meeting the challenges of the guitar literature. There is abundant practice material here for guitarists of all levels.
